Robin Bartlett Rissi holds a bachelor's degree (2007) in contemporary history and political science from the University of Fribourg. She then transferred to the University of Bern and studied political science and general ecology at the master's level. She completed her master's degree in 2009. Since 2017 she has been working as a scientific collaborator for the online voting aid “smartvote" and related research. She is the project manager of "smartvote International" and has implemented smartvote in Australia, Luxembourg and Tibet, among others.
