Patrick Bigler
PhD student with Prof. Dr. Doina Radulescu
Patrick works at the KPM as a PhD-Student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Doina Radulescu. He conducts his research in the field of energy economics, mainly focusing on household’s decisions regarding renewable technologies in the fields of heating, electricity as well as mobility and government’s role in promoting these. Prior to his employment at the KPM he graduated with a Master’s in Applied Economic Analysis from the University of Bern. In various positions at Swiss banks and most recently as a research assistant at the World Trade Institute he has gathered his first professional experiences.
In his leisure time he prefers to be outsided doing sports. In winter he plays hockey in a team and in summer he goes hiking in the mountains.
