Catharina Geurtzen started working with the KPM Center for Public Management in January 2019. She is part of the team of Prof. Claus Jacobs and she will be writing her dissertation.
Catharina has a master’s degree in sociology and criminology from the University of Groningen. She also studied at the University of Bern, as well as the University of Zürich. After graduating from the University of Groningen in 2012 she worked in the State Department of Corrections, in both Zürich and Bern. She currently also works as a researcher at the Swiss Centre of Prison and Probation in Fribourg.
Catharina loves spending time in the mountains and to go climing and skitouring.
