Research Projects

Bettina Stauffer has been working at the KPM Center for Public Management in the team of Prof. Dr. Fritz Sager since January 2019. She is writing her PhD thesis within the National Research Programme 76 (Welfare and Coercion) by comparing in particular the moral policy debate on the child and adult protection authorities in the German- and French-speaking parts of Switzerland.

Bettina Stauffer studied Political Science and Social Anthropology at the Universities of Berne and Geneva. Before joining the KPM, she worked at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO in the field of economic cooperation and development. During this time, she also spent several months as Adviser to the Swiss Board Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.
