David Staubli is teaching Public Finance during the fall semester 2025. His primary role is in the Tax Policy Division of the Swiss Federal Tax Administration, where he works as a policy advisor focusing on the design and impact of tax reforms. In addition, he teaches as a lecturer at Swiss universities.

He studied economics at the University of Basel and earned his PhD from the University of Lausanne. His dissertation addressed topics in behavioral economics and included an empirical estimation of the tax elasticity of corporate profits.
