The KPM Center for Public Management explores how public tasks are defined, designed, and governed. Our research combines theoretical excellence with practical relevance for the state, public administration, and society.
We investigate key questions related to organization, governance, legislation, digitalization, regulation, and political steering. Our work is interdisciplinary – operating at the intersection of business administration, economics, political science, and law – and involves close collaboration with national and international partner institutions.
Through its internationally visible basic and applied research, the KPM contributes to evidence-based development of public institutions.
Current publications appear in leading academic journals and in the KPM publication series.
