Xenia Bertschmann is a PhD student and assistant at the Competence Center for Public Management (KPM). For her dissertation, she is collaborating on the research project “Public Administrations under Pressure” (PARP), which is led by Prof. Fritz Sager and Prof. Markus Hinterleitner.

Xenia Bertschmann has a Master's degree in European Global Studies from the University of Basel and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Bern. During her studies, she completed an exchange semester in Monterrey (Mexico) and an exchange semester in Seoul (South Korea). After graduating, she worked as a journalist at SRF and gained additional professional experience in the FDFA’s Europe Division.
