The KPM is part of the Swiss Network for Public Administration. SPAN is a collaborative project involving the KPM at the University of Bern, the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) at the University of Lausanne, and the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). Through SPAN, students can pursue the Master of Public Management and Policy (Master PMP) as well as the Doctorate in Public Administration (Dr. admin. publ.).
